Winifred Arnold Olmstead passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 5, 2015, Easter Sunday, at the age of 64 after a brief battle with cancer.
Winnie was a loving mother, friend, and teacher. As a member of the faculty at the St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Syracuse, NY for twenty-five years, she profoundly touched the lives of countless students and medical professionals. Winnie's first husband, Dr. Rev. William E. Arnold, III, was an Episcopalian priest who served at the Church of the Redeemer in Bryn Mawr, PA. After his death in 1990, Winnie moved to Cazenovia, NY with their three children and later married Philip B. Olmstead.
Winnie is survived by her husband, Philip; by her four children, William, Matthew, Meredith and Benjamin; and by five brothers and sisters, John B. Stetson IV of Malvern, PA, Georgia Stetson Diefendorf of Cazenovia, NY, Phoebe Stetson Mendenhall of La Mesa, CA, Priscilla Stetson Odiorne of West Chester, PA, and Raymond H. Todd, Jr. of Cromwell, CT. She was the daughter of Winifred Walton Stetson Todd and Raymond Holmes Todd.

A Memorial Service for Winnie will be held Saturday April 18, 11 AM at Church of the Redeemer, 230 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 10 AM. Interment will follow in the Church's cemetery.
