William Phillip Murray, Jr. of Drexel Hill, PA passed away on March 14, 2021.  Born in Philadelphia in 1936; he was the son of the late William P. Murray and Marie Schneipp Murray.  William had varied interests but what he enjoyed most was spending his time at St. Andrew the Apostle Church; volunteering with Boy Scouts of America Cub/Troop 220, Collection Counter and CCD.  For the past 59 years, William was a member of the Men of Malvern which he would spend a weekend in June visiting the Malvern Retreat House to reflect on his spirituality and family.  He also devoted several hours tutoring math at Delaware County Literacy Council.

William graduated from St. James High School in 1955, was a veteran who proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1956-1960, was employed at Boeing Vertol in 1960.   During his years of work, William raised his family and completed his Bachelor of Science degreee at Widener University in May of 1977.

William was the loving husband of MaryAnn (nee Werner), father of Michael (late Mary), Patricia Suloff (Gerald), MaryAnn Boyer (Joseph), Andrew, Kathleen Amatucci (Fred) and Christopher (Kathleen).  William is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

William's Funeral Mass will be held on March 24th,  11:00 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill PA.  Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association , American Lung Association or Salvation Army .
