William J. Lyons passed away at his home in Garrett Hill, PA on May 8, 2023.  He was 94.

Son of the late William and Mary Murphy Lyons, Bill was born on July 13, 1928 in Garrett Hill, PA.  Bill was a graduate of Radnor High School,.  He j oined the army in 1946. In 1948 he saw Margaret Boston from afar at a USO dancehall and said to his friend, I'm going to marry that girl. He married her in 1953. While she was pregnant with her first child she said, "I had a dream I had a girl", Bill said "wow, I had a dream we had 7 sons." Which came true.  Bill was an avid bowler, softball player and philly sports fan.

Bill was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Rose Lyons (nee Boston).  Devoted father of William, Michael, John (Pam), Chris, Paul, David and Tim (Jen); dear Pop-Pop of Carolyn, Matthew, Jennifer, Paige, Hannah, Ethan and Cameron.

Relatives and friends are invited on Monday May 15th,  Viewing from 9 to 10:30 AM with Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Chapel, 1229 Lancaster Ave., Rosemont, PA.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
