William W. Harding, Jr.'s Obituary
William W. Harding, Jr. passed away on Friday May 9, 2008 at his residence in Ardmore, PA. He was 88.
Son of the late William W., Sr. and Lillian M. Wood Harding, he was born and raised in Richmond, VA. He served in the U.S. Army from 1936-1945. He later worked for the Philadelphia Electric Company, retiring from there after 35 years of service.
He was the beloved husband of 63 years of Delia J. Harding (nee Kearney). Devoted father of Lillian Maria Harding and William E. Harding (Eileen). Loving grandfather of Colin, Michael & Ashley Harding and Kelly Stumpo (Steve). Great-grandfather of Steven Stumpo. He is also survived by his brother Donald Harding.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday May 13, 10:00 AM at St. Colman Church, Lancaster Ave. & Argyle Rd., Ardmore, PA. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday from 7 to 9 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301, Attn. Gift Processing.
