William D. Walsh's Obituary
William D. Walsh, of West Chester, PA., passed away on January 11, 2015 at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Son of the late John, Jr. and Ellen Muirhead Walsh, he was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on July 31, 1948.
Bill served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He was the beloved husband of Regina Walsh (nee Taylor). Devoted father of Jill Elizabeth Walsh, Luke Andrew Walsh and John, Robert, William and Julia Walsh. Dear brother of Anne Campbell, John Walsh, Thomas Walsh and David Walsh and the late Mary Walsh Simms. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation Friday January 16 from 6:30 to 9 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA. and to his Funeral Mass on Saturday January 17, 10 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. Interment will follow in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
