Walter R. Hertler's Obituary
Walter R. "Wally" Hertler, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2016 with his wife and daughter by his side, after a determined battle with cancer, during which his passion for life never wavered. He was 74.
Son of the late Walter G. and Catherine (nee Quinn) Hertler, he was born in Philadelphia on April 16, 1942.
He was the beloved husband of Adrienne Hertler (nee Sheldon). Devoted father of Adrienne. He is survived by his brother Steve. He was a beloved son-in-law of Denise A. Sheldon; and uncle to nieces and nephews, Matt Hertler, Savannah Hertler, Kate Bernhardt, Jerry Bernhardt, John Sheldon, and Tazia Murie.
A Celebration of Wally's Life will take place on Wednesday June 22nd at Colonial Dames, 1630 Latimer St., Philadelphia. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 4 to 5 PM and a service to Celebrate Wally's Life will begin at 5 PM. Please click on the invitation link below for more details.
