Veronica D. Gillen's Obituary
Veronica D. Gillen, formerly of Wayne, PA., passed away on January 19, 2007 at Little Flower Manor in Darby, PA. She was 87.
Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Early Gillen. She was born in Wayne, PA in 1919. She was a graduate of St. Katharine of Siena High School and Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and did much private duty nursing and later worked in the infirmary of Villanova University for many years.
She was the loving sister of Theresa Gillen Morris and the late Joseph T. Gillen, Katherine Gillen Ryan and Mary Gillen Adelberger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday January 29 , 11:00 AM at St. Katharine of Siena Church, Lancaster & Aberdeen Aves., Wayne, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Little Flower Manor, 1201 Springfield Rd., Darby, PA 19023.
