Ursula Marie O'Connor (nee Baxter) passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2008 at her residence in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was 85.

Daughter of the late Theodore and Ursula Seeberger Baxter, Ursula was born in Philadelphia in 1923. She was a graduate of Merion Mercy Academy. Ursula volunteered her time as a group therapist at Haverford State Hospital working with alcoholics and dedicating her life to helping people in recovery. She always made sure she had time for everyone, whether they needed support, kindness, encouragement, understanding or just someone to listen to them.

She was the beloved wife of the late James J. O'Connor. Devoted mother of Karen Ursula Nolan, Theodora Bonner (Dennis), James J., Jr. (Emmy) and Patrick B. (Heather). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and her brother Frank Baxter.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday December 4, 11:00 AM at St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA 19003.
