Timothy J. O'Mara, formerly of Haverford, PA, passed away on February 26, 2013 at his residence in Hickory, NC. He was 46.

Tim was born on October 28, 1966 in Philadelphia, PA. He attended St. Aloysius Academy in Bryn Mawr, PA. and was a graduate of The Haverford School, Class of 1985. He began his college career at Roanoke College where he was a member of the men's lacrosse team and finished up graduating from Bucknell University where he was also a member of the men's lacrosse team. He then went to work for the family business in Hickory, NC where he has lived since graduating college. He was the President and CEO of O'Mara Incorporated which is a textile manufacturer. He started up the Hickory Lacrosse program where he coached his son Ryan in lacrosse. He was a member of Catawba Country Club in Hickory, NC and Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, PA. He loved to play golf, watch sports and spend time with his family and friends.

Tim was the devoted father of Ryan Joseph and Lindsey Anne O'Mara of Hickory, NC. Beloved son of Joseph & Helen Martin O'Mara. Dear brother of Meighan McGovern (Peter), Katie Mears (Bob) and the late Christopher J. O'Mara and Ehrin O'Mara.

A Funeral Mass was held on Saturday March 2nd at St. John Neumann Church in Bryn Mawr, PA. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
