THOMAS GREGORY SONG, age 85, on December 14, 2014 of Havertown, PA. Son of the late U. Hon Song and Jong-Ah So. Survived by his wife Mary Jane Song (nee Katsoris) of Ridgefield, CT; daughters Anastasia of Redding, CT and Suran Song-Weis of Brooklyn, NY and by his companion of 44 years, Charles Burke. Mr. Song was born in Tokyo, raised in Manchuria and came to the United States in 1948. He was a graduate of Dartmouth College, Class of 1953 and held double masters degrees from the University of Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1957. He was Associate Director of Libraries at Bryn Mawr College from 1969-1987. He later directed the matching gifts program at Cigna Foundation in Philadelphia, retiring in 1995. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday December 19, 10 AM at Old St. Joseph's Church, 321 Willings Alley (Southeast corner of 4th & Walnut Sts.) Philadelphia, PA. 19106. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9 AM. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Old St. Joseph's Non-Sectarian Outreach to the Poor and Homeless, 321 Willings Alley, Philadelphia, PA 19106
