Thomas J. Shallow, Sr., of Gladwyne, PA and Marco Island, FL., passed away on Easter Sunday April 8, 2012 at his residence in Marco Island. He was 71.

Son of the late James J., Sr. and Eleanor Cooney Shallow, he was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 29, 1941. He was a proud graduate from the class of 1963 from the University of Notre Dame. Served in The Air National Guard. Served as past president of the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter for the University of Notre Dame. Served on the advisory committee to the Board of Admissions at the University of Notre Dame. Past member of the Philadelphia Drug Exchange. Member of Philadelphia Country Club since 1973. Served in numerous leadership positions for over 45 years and was an owner of Fitzpatrick Container Corporation.

He was the beloved husband of Eileen Shallow (nee Fitzpatrick). Devoted father of Thomas J., Jr. (Colleen), Heather Kemp (Robert) and Lisa Murray (Michael). Loving grandfather of Lily, Lauralys, Thomas, Olivia, Michael, Eamon, Louisa, Caroline, Margo, Molly, and Charles. Dear brother of James and Robert. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday April 13, 11 AM at St. John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Rd., Gladwyne, PA. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Church after 9 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
