Susan Carroll Mullen, of Rosemont, PA., passed away on December 12, 2011 at Dunwoody Village in Newtown Square, PA. She was 76.

She was the daughter of the late Helen Dougherty Mullen and Carroll Richard Mullen, M.D. of Philadelphia.

Susan grew up on Locust St. and graduated from Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Overbrook and Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. She spent her career in human resources management with The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Suburban Water Works and Foote Mineral. Sue also served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Thomas of Villanova Parish.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Carroll Mullen Carney of Bryn Mawr; her three nieces, Carroll Carney Robertson of Alexandria, VA., Susan Carney Fahey (Robert) of Villanova, Resie Carney Flaherty (Patrick) of Quincy, MA.; cousins Margaret and John Dougherty and Cecile Kelly all of Philadelphia and 8 grand nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday December 19, 10:30 AM at St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Ln., Bryn Mawr. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, 480 S. Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
