Seth Alan Peterson of Brooklyn, NY., passed away on February 9, 2009 after a long battle with depression. A 2003 graduate of Upper Merion High School in King of Prussia, PA., Seth pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In July 2008, he was recognized as one of Broadway's Rising Young Stars in a revue performance at Broadway's Town Hall.


Seth is survived by his loving parents, Elaine Ellis Thomas and Henry O. Peterson, III., his sister Rachel Barr Peterson Zinier, step-father Timothy I. Thomas, brother-in-law Yohann Zinier, 2 grandmothers and many aunts, uncles and cousins. All who loved Seth will deeply miss his great wit, inclination to break into song at a moments notice, and encyclopedic knowledge of theater, TV and film.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 14, 11 AM at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in the Great Valley, 2475 St. Peter's Rd., Malvern, PA. Interment will follow in the churchyard. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday from 7 to 9 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA.
