Ruth T. Sullivan (nee Walters), of Wayne, PA, passed away on June 10, 2023.

Ruth was the beloved wife of Joseph J. Sullivan Jr., devoted mother of Joseph J. Sullivan III (Jennifer), Ruth S. Pulliam (Chad) and Lauren S. O'Leary (Patrick); loving grandmother of Connor, Madeline, Charlie, Ryan, Patrick, Emma, Thaddeus and Felicity. She is also survived by many siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Ruth attended the Holy Child School, and she was a 1972 graduate of Rosemont College where she excelled in the arts. In addition to the years spent as a devoted wife and mother, Ruth was a dedicated teacher at Saint Aloysius Academy and spent the majority of her career at Saint Katharine of Siena School in Wayne, PA. She was loved and respected for her fun, but no nonsense approach to middle school education. Ruth set a beautiful example of volunteerism and service in her parish, school and community, and she was quite possibly Villanova basketball's number one fan. Ruth was an excellent model of ardent Catholic faith in her example of dutiful and loving marriage of over 50 years to Joe and the beautiful home life she created for her husband, children and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited on Thursday June 15th, Visitation from 9 to 10:30 AM with Funeral Mass at 11 AM all at St. Katharine of Siena Church, Lancaster & Aberdeen Aves., Wayne PA. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
