Ruth N. Harnett (nee Nicholson), formerly of Merion, PA., passed away on December 15, 2017 at Brittany Pointe Estates in Lansdale, PA.  She was 99.

Daughter of the late Roy and Hedwig Strunce Nicholson, she was born on October 25, 1918 in Philadelphia, PA.  Ruth worked as a school teacher in the Philadelphia School District for 35 years.

Ruth was the beloved wife of the late John T. Harnett.  Devoted mother of Joan Michele Hubbert (late James F.).  Loving grandmother of Kristen Hubbert (Jeffrey Dinger), James Cory Hubbert, Brennan R. Hubbert (Laura) and the late Craig W. Hubbert and Ryan F. Hubbert.  Dear great-grandmother of Braeden, Katherine, Angela Grace, Jack, Finn and Heidi.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday December 20, 11 AM at St. Matthias Church, 128 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA.  Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 10 AM.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Feasterville, PA.
