Rosemarie Paladino passed away peacefully on September 5, 2022 at the age of 99. Rosemarie, daughter of Joseph Anthony Paladino and Angeline Lucy Paladino (née Perry), will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, JoAnn McGovern (née Paladino), her nephew, James (Christine) McGovern and her nieces, Angela (Robert) Avery (née McGovern) and Mary Elizabeth (Matthew) Dallas (née McGovern), as well as 11 great nieces and nephews and many loving cousins.

A devout Catholic, Rosemarie was born on July 3, 1923 in New Rochelle, New York. She attended George Washington elementary and New Rochelle High School. Rosemarie went on to complete business courses before pursuing a career in accounting and bookkeeping. After relocating to Glenside, PA in 1966, she worked at the Standard Press Steele Company (SPS Technologies) and Bloomingdales for more than 20 years.

Rose loved animals and was a longtime supporter of the SPCA. She also enjoyed traveling with her friends and co-workers. She had a fanciful dream to one day buy a villa in Tuscany, north of her ancestral home of Calabria, Italy. Rose also enjoyed cooking, baking, and strolling flea markets. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her loved ones—the children and dogs she adored, in particular.

Relatives and friends are invited on Saturday, September 10, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Visitation followed by 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Rd, Gladwyne, PA. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
