Ronald L. Magolda's Obituary
Ronald L. Magolda, of Wallingford, PA., passed away on Sunday June 1, 2008 at The Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. He was 54.
Ron was born in Vineland NJ, the son of the late Rocco and Alice Baddaracco Magolda. He was the beloved husband of Diane M. Schneider and the loving brother of Lucille Magolda and Nicholas (Frances) Magolda. He was also the dear uncle of Nick (Tiffany) Magolda, Kim (Paul) Abrams, Nina and Christopher Rossello, and Olivia and Alex Goodman and great-uncle of Nicky Abrams.
Ron received a BS in Chemistry from Villanova University and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. He was the Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Wyeth. During his career he authored numerous scientific papers and holds more than 50 patents.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday June 5, 11:00 AM at Nativity B.V.M. Church, 30 E. Franklin St., Media, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Villanova University, 800 Lancaster Ave., Villanova, PA 19085.
