Ronald F. Landry 1940-2009
Ronald Fernand Landry, 68, died January 9, 2009 at Bryn Mawr Hospital of natural causes.
Ron was born on September 27, 1940 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was the second of seven children.
Ron graduated from Saint Anthony's High School in 1958 in Manchester and just recently enjoyed his 50 year class reunion.
At 18, he moved to Connecticut and soon after to California where he married Carol Smith at 25. He worked in the Los Angeles metro area with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 11 as an electrician until his retirement in 1998. After retirement he lived in Reno, Nevada, Cleveland, Ohio and Lewes, Delaware and eventually in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. He was an avid poker player and enjoyed fishing, Scrabble, western omelets, going to the beach and especially his family.
Ron is survived by his four children, Robert, Scott, Julie and Jacqueline and his four brothers, Robert, Richard, Roland and Raymond and his two sisters, Helen and Denise. He has seven grandchildren Anthony, Emily, Zoe, Andrew, Nicholas, Nathan and Tessa. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He follows his parents Rita and Robert Landry.
Services and interment are private for the family.
He will be missed.
