Robert "Bob" Charles O'Brien, of Drexel Hill PA, passed away suddenly on May 28, 2024. He was 66.

Son of the late Cornelius Clement O'Brien Jr and Margaret Harvey O'Brien Canfield. He was born in Darby PA on October 10, 1957. Bob was a graduate of Malvern Preparatory in Malvern PA.

Bob spent many summers in Longport NJ, which was one of his favorite places. One of his fondest memories was the small boat he received for his 13th Birthday, which was called the Bob-a-long. Infinite hours were spent on it along the bay of Longport fishing, water skiing, and bobbing along with his siblings and friends. He worked at Larry's dock as a kid and considered Larry one of his best friends. Many hours were spent on the bench at the dock with his buddies. He was a diehard Flyers fan and enjoyed watching the Eagles and Phillies. Bob loved dogs, but beagles held a special place in his heart.

Bob was the beloved husband of Sheila (nee Gallagher) O'Brien for 30 years. Dear brother of Cornelius (Peggy), the late Gerald, Peggy Vaughan (Joe), and Susan Fenimore (Ed). He is also survived by 8 nieces, 5 nephews, 5 great nieces, 8 great nephews and many friends.

With his passing comes great sorrow. Bob was loved and admired by so many, and he will be missed and forever loved. Relatives and friends are invited on June 6, 2024, Visitation from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00 AM at Our Mother Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd, Bryn Mawr PA.  Interment is private.
