Robert E. Dudley, III., of Middletown, DE, passed away on April 21, 2021 at Christiana Hospital.  He was 68.

Son of the late Robert Edward, Jr. and Marie Turner Dudley, he was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 5 ,1952.  Rob was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School .  He was a member of Local 19 Sheet Metal Union.  He loved all sports, music, playing golf and more than anything he adored his 4 grandchildren.

Rob was the beloved husband of Dorothy J. Dudley (nee Chambers).  Devoted father of Lauren Bailey (Kevin), Alana Sheldrake (Brian) and Kate Dudley.  Loving Pop-Pop of Bobby, Ava, Brian, Jr., and Julian.  Dear brother of Barbara McLaughlin (late James), Dolores Murphy (Steve) , Jeffrey Dudley (Pam) and Paul Dudley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Due to Covid-19, the viewing, Funeral Mass and interment will be private for family and invitees only.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society , March of Dimes or Wounded Warrior Project .
