Richard J.
Bryant, Ii.
March 10, 1949 – March 15, 2026
Richard Joseph Bryant, of Radnor, PA., passed away on March 15, 2026 at The Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was 77.
The second young man to be drafted into the army to fight in the Vietnam war. "Rick" served with honor and was discharged after being severely injured while in service.
After recovering from his injuries, he attended Temple University and received his bachelor's degree in accounting and began his career at a prestigious accounting firm. From accounting he moved into commercial insurance and accepted a position as Executive Vice President of Wilmington Insurance.
Friends and family will always remember him for his sense of humor; no matter his situation or pain he could find a way to make you laugh. More than anything else he will be remembered for his gentle and compassionate nature. He was a true hero; a protector of women, children and animals. He will fondly be remembered as being kind, generous and respectful of anyone he encountered. You knew you were important to him if you received a nickname; Nails, Too Tall, Vittles, Hubs, and Buzzy are just a few – if you did not get a nickname, you were of no consequence.
He leaves behind life partner Elaine Hubbell, Brother Thomas Bryant, Niece Alyce Bryant, Nephew Richie Bryant and Cousins, William, Jean, Mollie, Chandler Tobin and Ann Schlensker.
Rest in peace Rick, you will always be remembered and loved by those who knew you.
