Raymond C. Hill passed away on August 1, 2017 at his residence in Villanova, PA. He was 87.

Son of the late Robert D. and Mildred Cahill Hill, he was born on December 24, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA. A proud graduate of Penn State's School of Chemical Engineering, Ray Hill worked in management for Gulf Oil , Chevron and BP. His career took him to work in refineries in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Toledo, Ohio, Cincinnati, Ohio and New Orleans, Louisiana. He served in the Army in Fort Meade, Maryland. He was a lifelong fan of the Penn State football team.

He was the beloved husband of Anna Hill (nee Perpiglia). Devoted father of Deborah McCarthy (Michael), Nancy Hill (Jay Moses), Raymond C., Jr. (Bonnie), Judith Gehrlein (John) and Barbara Strickland (Alan). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and his brother Robert D. Hill, Jr. (Johanna).

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday August 4, 10 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Chapel, 1229 E. Lancaster Ave., Rosemont, PA. Relatives and friends may call at the Chapel after 9 AM.

Interment is private.
