Phyllis L. Brown, of Narberth, PA., passed away on Thursday October 16, 2008 at Brighten @ Bryn Mawr Nursing Home. She was 72.
Daughter of the late Donato and Felecia Tiburzio DiPrinzio, she was born in Narberth, PA. in 1936. She was a graduate of Lower Merion High School. She worked as a waitress in the area for many years, but most notably at the Coffee Shop in the GSB Building on City Ave.
She was the beloved wife of Thomas J. Brown. Devoted mother of Denise Sakel (Mark), Trina Subick, Thomas J., Jr., John and Anthony. Loving grandmother of Robert Shaw (Angelica), Sierra Sakel, Steve Subick (Jodi), Crystal Campion (Dennis), Deanna Subick and Felecia Subick. Great grandmother of Tatum Subick. She is also survived by her sisters Erma Ambrosini, Dolores Misenko and Mary Lavala and her brother Donato DiPrinzio.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday October 24, 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Church, 210 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday from 7 to 9 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., 1 Plymouth Meeting, Suite 250, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462-1316.
