PEDRO N. RODRIGUEZ, F.A.S.I.D., OCTOBER 6, 2012- of Bala Cynwyd, PA. Born in Havana, Cuba on April 27, 1934. He was a graduate of American School of Design and headed his own interior design firm for many years. Loving partner of Stanley Edward Alper for 49 years. Brother of Orlando Rodriguez. Uncle of Gladis Prieto, Gina Thillet and Patricia Dembowsky. Brother-in-law of Helen and Sig Ginsburg. Uncle of Phyllis & Don Slutsky, Barry & Rona Ginsburg and Meryl Uranga. Also survived by 20 great nieces and nephews. He was a patron of the arts and supporter of many organizations. Once you met Pedro you never forgot him. His personality was endearing and outrageous. Pedro lived life with an eye for design and brought flowers and beauty to every space he touched. Funeral Mass Thursday October 11, 10:30 AM at St. Matthias Church, 128 Bryn Mawr Ave., Bala Cynwyd. Relatives and friends may visit at the Church after 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of the donor's choice. Shiva will be observed at the home of Stanley Alper Thursday through sundown Friday.
