PEARL CIUKURESCU (NEE TEDEROFF), of Bryn Mawr, formerly of Philadelphia, PA., passed away on August 25, 2010. She was 89. Beloved wife of the late George Ciukurescu. Devoted and cherished mother of Georgette, George, Jr.,(Bernadette), Irene and Steven (Suzanne). Loving Baba (grandmother) of Kristi Schwartz (Mike), George III., Christina Acevedo, Brittany, Andrew and Dustin. Dear sister of Mary Kaniuka, John Tederoff and the late Anna Beren and Julia Sankey. She will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. The family is grateful to Michelle Adams for the extraordinary care she provided for our mother. We would also like to thank the entire staff at Haverford Estates Assisted Living. Pearl was a remarkable woman with great kindness and compassion and her memory will remain in the hearts of her family forever. Funeral Mass Monday August 30, 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr. Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 9:30 AM.
