Paul V. DeLomba, Sr., 82, of Gladwyne, passed away at home on February 16, 2018.  A Memorial Funeral Service is planned at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 415 E. Athens Ave., Ardmore PA on Friday, February 23 ^rd at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in his name to Bryant University, 1150 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917 or to the DeLomba Family Trustee Scholarship Fund at Penn State University's Smeal College of Business, 210 Business Bldg., University Park, PA 16802.

Paul was born on Nov 6, 1935 in East Providence, Rhode Island to John and Laurentina DeLomba.  He graduated East Providence High School, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and earned a BS, Summa Cum Laude in Accounting from Bryant University.  Paul worked his entire career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse, gaining admittance to the Partnership in 1971 and served as Managing Partner in various offices before retiring in 1994 in Philadelphia.  He was President of Upsala College, served on a variety of Boards, including Mary J. Drexel Home and the Philadelphia Country Club.  He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels, his church, and many other community organizations.

Most importantly, Paul was a devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who was generous with his love and time.  There was nothing he wouldn't do for his family and supported us all through good times and bad.  He loved travel, Penn State football, and was an avid golfer.  He spent much of his free time since retirement on the golf course with his buddies – the Philadelphia Country Club Raiders.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents John and Laurentina and brother, Gordon.   He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth; brother John (Carol) DeLomba and sister Elaine Moniz of East Providence, RI; sister-in-law Elaine DeLomba of Danvers, MA;   children, Elizabeth (Paul) Schanken, Paul V. (Ruthanne) DeLomba Jr., and Stephanie (Jason) Kupski; grandchildren Justin Juner, Cassandra (David) Pollack , Paul V. DeLomba III, Lauren DeLomba, Benjamin DeLomba, , Nicholas and Charlotte Kupski; great-grandaughters Kylie, Natalie and Ava Pollack; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Our rock, solid and unwavering in his love for his family and friends, is gone but will live eternally in our hearts.
