Patrick J. McKaig, of Ridley Park,, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away on January 4, 2024 at Taylor Hospital.  He was 81.

Son of the late Joseph & Stella Peirce McKaig, Patrick was born in Philadelphia PA on May 6, 1942.  He was a graduate of Father Judge High School, Class of 1960.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany.   He was a fan of local college basketball following the Big 5 in its original days at the Palestra.  He was a big fan of Notre Dame Football and all of the local Philadelphia sports teams.

Patrick was the beloved husband of Patricia "Patti" M. McKaig (nee O'Leary).  Dear brother of Florence Hanlin (the late John), Robert McKaig (Gay) and the late Marie Gethin, Walter McKaige (Bonnie) and Aloysius McKaig.  Also survived by his in- laws Edward J. O'Leary, Jr. (Patricia), Marie R. Duffy (John) and Thomas F. O'Leary (Natalie) as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited on Saturday January 27th, Visitation from 9:30 to 11:00 AM with Funeral Mass at 11 AM at St. Madeline Church, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA.  Interment will be private at a later date.
