Patricia P.
Randolph
September 21, 1932 – November 2, 2017
Patricia P. Randolph, "Pat" , age 85, died on November 2, 2017 close to her home of 40 years in Great Valley, Chester County, PA. She was born September 21, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio, and was a proud graduate of the Saint Mary of the Springs Academy. Patricia also loved and excelled at her undergraduate classes at the Ohio State University, especially botany, prior to marrying her beloved late husband of 61 years, Richard J. Randolph (Dick).
Pat and Dick were true life partners and intrepidly moved their family around the country as Dick pursued a career in the Re-entry and Space Division of the General Electric Company. They lived in Cincinnati, OH, Cheyenne, WY, Wallingford, PA, and Dayton, OH before settling on the east coast in Malvern, PA. Pat always approached each move with supreme confidence and enthusiastically assimilated into each community by joining groups such as the Welcome Wagon, League of Women Voters, and Great Valley Women's Club. In 1960, she rode in a stage coach, representing the Welcome Wagon, in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Grand Parade.
An avid gardener, bridge player, and cook, Pat loved to entertain and spend time with her family and friends. She was an adventurous cook and enjoyed experimenting with new recipes even making Baked Alaska in Cheyenne in the early 1960's. She was the ultimate hostess who could produce amazing meals on short notice while making the effort seem easy.
Pat is survived by her daughter Susan (Joseph) Passante and son Stephen (Soon) Randolph. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Dick, and her parents Albert J. Pace and Ethel Cassady Pace.
