Patricia A.
Porter
April 9, 1962 – November 10, 2025
It is with profound sadness that the family of Patricia "Patsy" Anne Porter announces her passing on November 10, 2025. Born on April 9, 1962 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of Helen Anderson Porter and Guy Robert Porter, Jr. Patsy grew up in Villanova, PA and was most recently a resident of Philadelphia. She was a graduate of Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Bryn Mawr and Gettysburg College where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
Patsy will be best remembered for her warm smile, her amazing sense of humor, her love for her family, and her genuine care for others. Travel became a passion for Patsy with trips to Vietnam, Morocco and a Riverboat Cruise through Europe being amongst her favorites. Patsy's devotion for The Savoy Company of Philadelphia is well known, always a backstage presence with no desire for the spotlight. Since 1989, she served in many capacities including treasurer, president, producer, board member and building officer. After beginning her career at Marsh and McLennan Insurance Agency, she spent most of her professional life working in construction and property management. Through her work at Hershey's Mill, Human Resources and Development and others she touched countless lives with her diligence, attention to detail and dedication to excellence. Patsy loved her work but she was even more proud of the relationships she built along the way.
She is survived by her siblings Anne Porter, Andrew (Nan) Porter, Beth Porter, Claire Porter, Sheila Brannau, sister-in-law Jescey French and close family friend Molly Keith. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Frank Porter and brother-in-law Matthew Brannau. She was an adored aunt to 13, and great-aunt to 8. She was deeply proud of her nieces and nephews and cherished each and every one. Patsy was a dedicated friend to many and will be deeply missed by all.
