Obituary

Patricia M. Oldfield (nee Mansfield), 87 years of age, of Merion Station, PA peacefully entered into eternal life on April 21, 2026. May Patricia rest in the peace of Christ.

Patricia is the beloved and forever beautiful mother survived by her devoted children Kathleen P. Oldfield (Steven Parks), Kellie A. Russo (Philip), Susan E. Majarowitz (Joseph), and Patrick J. Oldfield (Kelly). Patricia is the loving grandmother of Devyn (fiancé Jordan Widmaier) Russo, Lindsey Russo, David Russo, Mckenna Oldfield, and Kellan Oldfield. She is also survived by her brother, James J. Mansfield. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, William. J. and Kathleen P. (Bailey) Mansfield, Jr. her son David D. Oldfield, Jr., and her sister Ann M. Quinn. In addition, Patricia was predeceased by her loyal dogs: Josie, Charlie, and Finn.

Patricia was raised in Wynnewood, PA. She was a graduate of Merion Mercy Academy (formerly known as Mater Misericordiae Academy), class of 1956, and Immaculata Junior College, Washington, DC, class of 1958. After graduating college, Patricia worked for many years at her family's legal advertising business, and in the real estate and legal industries.

Patricia was a stellar tennis player who spent many years on the court at The Cynwyd Club. She was a competitive sportswoman throughout her life playing on the field hockey and basketball teams in high school and college. In addition, Patricia was a devoted fan of her children's and grandchildren's sport teams rarely missing their sporting events. Her frustration with calls by referees led her to become a girls' basketball and lacrosse referee for over 30 years, thus being a well-known "ref" on the Main Line. Patricia spent her lifelong summers in Ocean City, NJ where she loved to put her feet in the sand, take a swim in the ocean, and feel the warmth of the sun on her face. Other joys of Patricia included music, bargain hunting at T.J. Maxx, her daily Wawa coffee, donut and newspaper, and ending the always on-the-go days with a vodka, club soda, and lemon (not a lime!) drink. She always had a passion for remaining eternally young in spirit, look, and fashion.

What mattered most in life for Patricia was her family – children, grandchildren, spouses, and dogs. She loved to be surrounded by the smiles, laughs, and love of her family. Nothing stood in the way of her passion and fierce love for her family.
