PATRICIA "PAT" HARRISON JACOBS, of Malvern, PA., passed away on March 24, 2016 at Paoli Memorial Hospital from complications with lung cancer. She was 72.

She was the beloved wife of Francis B. Jacobs II, sister of Judith Bird Harrison Addis, Peter Stockton Harrison, David Lemoine Harrison and the late Charles Custis Harrison IV. She was the daughter of the late Charles Custis Harrison III and Mary Stockton Philler Harrison. Loving mother of Francis III (Renee), Harrison P. (Erika), C. Stockton (Sherri) and Mary J. Toner (Peter). She had ten grandchildren whom she adored: Francis IV, Cecilia Rose, Reilly Marie, Logan Price, Olivia Taylor, Calendula Lynn, Ayla Brinton, Peter Charles Toner III, Campbell Harrison Toner and Marcus James Toner. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pat was a graduate of The Shipley School '61 and Boston University's Sargent College. Pat traced her heritage back to two signers of the Declaration of Independence: Robert Morris and Richard Stockton. As a Harrison, she was related to the Montgomery's, one of Philadelphia's most prominent families. It was also a Harrison, Dorothy Harrison Eustis, who founded the "The Seeing Eye", the training of German Shepard dogs to assist the blind. Pat's true passion in life, besides her children and grandchildren, was "her" beagles. As Secretary and longtime Whipper-In of the Ardrossan Beagles (founded by Robert Montgomery Scott), Membership Secretary of the Bryn Mawr Hound Show Association and a longtime member of the National Beagle Club of America, Inc. (where she was the recipient of their prestigious Morgan Wing, Jr. Award), she worked tirelessly, behind the scenes, for their benefit.

A Memorial Service, in her honor, will be held on Monday, April 4th, 10:30 AM at St. David's Episcopal Church, 763 South Valley Forge Road, Wayne, PA 19087. Interment is private.
