Nancy C. Murray (nee Spinosi), a woman of great strength, humor and heart, a long-time resident of Ardmore,PA passed away peacefully at her home in Havertown on January 12, 2026. She was 93.

Born on October 15, 1932 Nancy was the beloved daughter of Candio and Santa Spinosi. She grew up in Philadelphia along with her siblings the late Louis Elia (late Mary), late Carmella Deluisi (late Caesare), late Rose Melchiorre (late Orlando), late Anna DelVecchio (late Angelo) and late Tony Elia (Lucy) all of whom shaped and shared her love and devotion to family.

Nancy was the devoted wife of the late J. Joseph Murray. As a mother she was a bedrock for her children Cecilia Susan, Anthony Joseph (Janine) and the late John Joseph (Ann) and Kenneth Anthony. Despite enduring the unimaginable tragedy of losing two sons, her spirit remained strong. She faced life's hardships with a grace that inspired those close to her, refusing to let sorrow dull her sense of humor.

Beloved "Gram"/"Gammy" to Brendan Michael, Kevin Joseph, John Thomas, Finnegan Joseph, Tynan Cecilia and Declan Anthony.

For many years she was a familiar face at Bryn Mawr College, where she worked and formed lasting connections.

To those who knew her, Nancy was more than just a tremendous listener she was a sanctuary. Always ready with her time, a supportive ear and a helping hand, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, wit, enduring love, and enough hand crocheted blankets to "warm a small army".

In addition to her living children and grandchildren Nancy is survived by a huge extended family and a community of friends that will all miss her dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited on Thursday January 15, 2026, Viewing from 9 to 10 AM with Funeral Mass to begin at 10 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, PA 19008.  Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
