Michael Joyce, age 67, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 6, 2023. Michael was born in Bryn Mawr, PA to Patrick and Patricia Joyce, one of nine children. He grew up in the Powder Mill Park section of Havertown.  After attending Presentation BVM School, Michael played basketball and graduated from Haverford High School in 1974.  As a longtime resident of Ardmore, PA, he worked as a landscaper serving the mainline communities for over 50 years, starting with Lower Merion Township at age 17. Michael will be remembered as a man of the town who would engage in conversation and offer wisdom and advice to all he came into contact with. Whether it be on his front porch with walkers by or those he would encounter on his numerous trips to get his beloved Wawa coffee. He was a true chemist when it came to making his coffee.  The last 13 years he spent all of his free time with his grandchildren doing anything and everything they wanted to do. Building snowmen, riding bikes, coloring, playing with dolls, etc. You name it he did it. He loved how different and unique each one of them are. He could not have been more proud of all of them.  Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Patricia, his brother Pat and his son Jacob. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, his children Michael (Lynn), Benjamin (Nancy), and Jennifer (Eugene), his siblings Mary, Shelia, Susan, Kevin, Tim, Chris and Jim, his six grandchildren, John, Eugene, Adelaide, Eliza, Zoey and Mikey, and countless nephews and nieces. He was their biggest supporter, most loyal fan and trusted confidant and advisor.  His presence will be missed by all who met him.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Lower Merion Scholarship Fund: LMTSF P.O.
