With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Michael Marion DeSimone, who left us unexpectedly on February 4, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Michael S. DeSimone and Rose DeSimone (nee Urso) and the beloved husband of Regina Quigley DeSimone and the proud father of Alexandra and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert P. and sister Florence Jones (Lee) and is survived by his brother Joseph DeSimone (Peggy Young).

He was a dedicated husband, father and uncle who cherished his family.  Michael will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews, including Meaghan Jones McCarthy (Marcus), Emma DeSimone, Kevin DeSimone, Jennifer DeSimone and Brian DeSimone. He celebrated the achievements of his nieces and nephews, always eager to hear their latest adventures and milestones.

Michael graduated from Monseigneur Bonnet High School,Upper Darby, Delaware County and received Bachelor of Arts in English from Penn State University.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from a good book or movie, nurturing his garden and vacationing on cruise ships. His infectious laughter and warm spirit truly endeared him to all who knew him. He never failed to find humor in any situation.

Relatives and friends are invited on Saturday February 17th, Visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 AM with Funeral Service to begin at 11:30 AM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore PA.  Interment will be private at a later date.

In honor of Michael's memory, his family kindly requests donations to The Barnes Foundation in lieu of flowers.
