Obituary

Michael B. Davy, former longtime resident of Narberth, PA., passed away on May 20, 2013 at The Quadrangle in Haverford, PA. He was 90.

Son of the late Michael and Margaret Gertrude Benson Davy, he was born in Watertown, WI on May 27, 1922. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1948.

He served in the U.S. Army 1943-1946 with service in the Pacific area. After WWII he served in the Air Force Reserve.

Mr. Davy was a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1948-1972, retiring from the Philadelphia office.

He was a tireless traveler in his retirement years, visiting over 100 countries and often said he had walked around the world.

Mr. Davy was a volunteer for the Red Cross and active in tennis, squash and skiing. He was member of the Cynwyd Club and of the Philadelphia Squash Racquets Association, serving as president of both groups. He was a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.

He is survived by a sister, Margaret Michaels of Cherry Hill, NJ and a number of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday May 29, 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Red Cross, P.O. Box 4040, Southeastern, PA 19398-4040.
