Maxine M. Brennan (nee Lindem), of Bryn Mawr, PA, died on October 11, 2022, at age 93.

She was the wife of the late Neil F. Brennan, mother of Julia Fisher (Art), Bernadette, Margaret Lindem and the late Michael (Atchanee); she is also survived by grandchildren Cole Fisher, Maxfield Brennan and Grant Brennan and sister Polly Cook.

Academic life took her to Northfield, Chicago, Paris, Auburn, Madison, Urbana, and Ithaca before she settled in Rosemont and Sister Bay, WI.  She was a librarian at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and a Democratic Committee Woman.  She was an avid reader, art-lover, cook, and traveler.
