Maura F. Walsh (nee Hughes), formerly of Boca Raton and Delray Beach, FL and Gladwyne, PA., passed away on December 8, 2017 at her home in Jacksonville, FL.   She was 87.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Flick Hughes, she was born on October 8, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA.  Maura was a graduate of Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova and of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.

Maura was the beloved wife of James J. Walsh who passed away in 2000.  She is the devoted step-mother of Margaret R. Albert, Victoria Conti and Mary Frances Discenza.  Dear aunt of Virginia Flick Lederman.  She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday December 18, 11 AM at St. John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Rd.,  Gladwyne, PA.  Relatives and friends may call at the Church after 10 AM.  Interment will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
