Obituary

MARY QUERIDA "M.Q." MITA REIMEL (nee Wolfington) of Newtown Square, PA passed away in Vero Beach, FL on March 18, 2013 at the age of 81 after a long illness.

MQ is survived by her loving husband Theodore L. Reimel, Jr.

MQ is lovingly remembered by her children Jacqui D DiBianca (Jim), Frank Mita (Amy, nee Lemieux) Eustace Mita (Susanne, nee Devine) Maripeg Bruder (Jim) and Mary Q. Dwyer (Rogan).

Her beautiful grandchildren: Courtney DiBianca, James Mita, Daniel Mita, Victoria Mita Eustace Mita, Jr. (Julie), Michael Mita (Lee), Melissa Mita Wesner (F.J.), Julia Mita Hartman (Joe), Molly Mita, Brittany Bruder, Patricia Bruder, Ashley Bruder, Alexandra Dwyer, Patrick Dwyer and her great-grandchildren Eustace Mita, III, Jack Mita, Matthew Mita, Michael Mita, Jr., Mary Mita, Helen Mita and Eloise Hartman brought her enormous joy every day of her life.

MQ graduated from the Country Day School of the Sacred Heart and attended Rosemont College. She was a successful fashion model for many years before she became the Fashion Director for Saks Fifth Avenue in Bala Cynwyd. She was instrumental in starting the Fifth Avenue Club, which was one of the first première, personal shopping venues in the Philadelphia area. Many will remember her for her Teen Classes on "manners, make-up and style" and for her singing at the guitar mass at St. Matthias Church in Bala Cynwyd.

MQ enjoyed summers in Avalon, NJ, boating on the Chesapeake Bay and travelling with family.

MQ is predeceased by her parents J. Eustace and Mary Margaret Wolfington (nee Hayden), her brother Hayden and her sister Peggie O'Neill. She is survived by her siblings Eustace, Martie Gillin, Harry, Vince, Guy and Alex.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 22, 2013 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA. A Viewing will be held in the Church from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. and will be immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
