Mary Grafton Filley McVickar passed away on Thursday September 15, 2011 at Beaumont at Bryn Mawr, in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was 90.
Daughter of the late Oliver and Mary Pyne Filley, she was born on January 24, 1921 in New York, NY.
She was the wife of the late Ronald McVickar. Mother of Louise McVickar Marx of Haverford, PA., Oliver Dwight McVickar of Frankfort, KY., and the late David Oliver McVickar. Grandmother of Elizabeth McKinley Michels and Alexander Rivington Marx. She is also survived by 6 great-grandsons and her brother Oliver Dwight Filley of Far Hills, NJ.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 24, 2 PM at Church of the Redeemer, 230 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to Chapin School, 100 East End Ave., New York, NY 10028 or to Church of Redeemer, 230 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
