Mary Ellen Harvey (nee McKeon), of Merion, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. She was 83.

She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Walter Franklin Atlee Harvey, the loving mother of Terence Atlee Harvey of Narberth, PA and Elisabeth Harvey Birosak of Enola, PA, cherished grandmother of four grandchildren, and dear sister of Edwin M. McKeon of Bethlehem, Thomas S. McKeon of Blue Bell, and Barry R. McKeon of Newtown Square.

Mary Ellen was born on October 9, 1934 in Mt. Airy to Edwin A. and Mary H. McKeon. She was a graduate of Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, Newton College, and Rosemont College.  Throughout her life she served others through her teaching, volunteering, and devoted friendships.

Mary Ellen loved her family and friends. She was a kind, faithful, and consummate gracious lady. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and making it a part of her daily life.  She will be dearly missed by family and friends who celebrate her life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 17 at St. Margaret Catholic Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA.  Family will be receiving friends beginning at 9:30 AM.

Private burial to follow at St. Dominic Cemetery, Philadelphia.
