Mary Haggerty Gallagher, of Bryn Mawr PA, passed away on December 10, 2023 at The Bryn Mawr Hospital with her children at her side.  She was 80.

Daughter of the late James Patrick Haggerty and Mary Ann Mulholland Haggerty.  She was born in Bryn Mawr PA on January 9, 1943. Mary was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School Class of 1960.

She worked as a secretary at Villanova University (formerly Villanova College) in the 1960s; provided daycare services at Bryn Mawr Racquet Club in Bryn Mawr; and was currently a secretary for Charles Friel Inc for the last forty plus years.  She left us with many fond memories and will be greatly missed.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late William J Gallagher Sr for 55 years. Devoted mother of Sheila G O'Brien (Robert), William J Gallagher Jr (Lisa), and Maryann A Gallagher. Loving grandmother of Brittany, Brandin, Debora, and William III. Loving great grandmother of Ailia and Ace. Dear sister of the late James J. Haggerty (Lynne).  She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, especially her lifelong friends Kate Norton and Pauline Benasutti.

Relatives and friends are invited on Friday December 15, Visitation from 9:30 to 11:00 AM with Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr PA 19010. Interment is private.
