Mary Jane "MJ" Collins (nee Kiely), cherished for her generosity, unyielding strength, and warmth, passed away suddenly on December 12, 2024. Born on March 25, 1957, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, MJ was known by all for her humor, dedication, and spunk.

MJ is preceded in death by her parents Thomas J. Kiely and Margaret (Marge) McCloskey Kiely, and her sister, Margaret "Mugsy" Kiely. She is survived by her loving siblings, Kathryn McDevitt (Peter), Maureen Hogan (Matt), Thomas J. Kiely, III. (Patti) and Aimee Weise (Frank), in addition to her thirteen nieces and nephews. MJ will be most dearly remembered by her children, Kelley Collins, Jr. and Courtney Collins.

A graduate of the Notre Dame Academy de Namur and Marymount College, MJ worked as a jewelry buyer early in her career. However, she truly discovered her passion and success in residential real estate over the past three decades, as MJ formed lasting relationships with both clients and agents alike, thanks to her unique blend of determination and empathy. In fact, MJ was so dedicated to her field that she could effortlessly recall every detail about a newly listed home. Not one for the northern winters, though, MJ made Seabrook Island, South Carolina her permanent home in 2011. Famous for her beach-walks, MJ forged a second family comprised of the many friends and fellow travelers she met on the island. For MJ, Seabrook Island was truly her Shangri-La.

MJ will be most remembered for her profound sense of selflessness. Whether it was her own children, family, friends, or strangers, she extended the same unmatched generosity to everyone she encountered.
