Mary King Bullock passed away on Wednesday November 29, 2006 at her residence in Haverford, PA. She was 104.
Daughter of the late Peter and Anne Griffin King, she was born in Norwood , MA in 1902. She was a Registered Nurse and received her nursing degree from Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. She then taught nursing at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York in the 1920's. She was a member of the Merion Golf Club and a life member of the Pennsylvania Society of New England Women
She was the beloved wife of the late H. Ridgely Bullock. Step-mother of Cynthia Lake Woodger of Princeton, NJ., Sheila B. Tucker of Vero Beach, FL and the late H. Ridgely Bullock, Jr of Greenwich, CT. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; her devoted niece Deborah Reddick of Norwood, MA and several other nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by her sisters Therese Craig, Katherine Gerrard and Irene Dray; and her brothers Peter, Joseph, Edward and Francis King. .
Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass Sat. Dec. 2, 1:00 PM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. Int. Church of the Redeemer Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army 701 N. Broad St., Phila. PA 19123.
