Mark "Big Mark" Jones passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on January 6th, 2024 at the age of 59.

Mark is survived by his wife of 40 years, Melissa Jones (nee Rice); daughters, Heather Jones, Aimee Moore her husband Stephen Moore, Stephanie Bell and her husband Sean Bell; grandchildren, Camryn Jones, Lucas Gorr, and Scarlett Bell; brother, James Jones; and his beloved Aunt Louella Halsey. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Jones (nee Halsey); father Thomas Jones; sister Glinda Cortlessa; and niece Sarah Cortlessa.

Mark was born on May, 29th 1964 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania to Jessie and Thomas. He graduated from Downingtown High school in 1983. He married Melissa, his middle school sweetheart, in 1984.

His family remembers him as a loving and funny father, strong-willed husband and talkative friend. He always had a hug and a story to share.

He was a skilled automobile painter before retirement, winning many awards for his work. Mark was passionate about his comic books and toy collection and often indulged in movie-watching. He was a quick-witted individual. He loved hiking with his dog Blaze and being outdoors.

Mark loved to make everyone laugh, and he really enjoyed laughing himself. Above all, Mark loved his wife, his girls, and his grandchildren.
