Marie A. "Netty" Romano (nee Parente), formerly of Ardmore, PA. passed away on May 2, 2009 at Blue Bell Place, in Blue Bell, PA. She was 88. She most recently resided with her niece and nephew, Elisa and Jeffrey Stong and their children of East Norriton, PA and Wellington, FL.

Daughter of the late Mark and Irma Linfante Parente, Netty was born in Blackhorse, PA. on September 8, 1920. She was a 1938 graduate of Norristown High School.

Netty was originally from Plymouth Township "Black Horse" PA, but spent most of her life in Ardmore where she and her husband were the proprietor's of Bobby's Luncheonette and Bobby's Deli for more than 45 years.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, James V. "Bobby" Romano, her sister Isabella Parente Del Vishio and her brothers, Joseph and Robert Parente. She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Petrillo (Paul) of FL., her sister-in-law Phyllis Parente of CA, Mr. & Mrs. Albert Romano of East Norriton, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Romano of Pottstown, Mr. and Mrs. William Romano of Audubon and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Funeral Mass Saturday May 9, 10 AM at St. Titus Church, 3006 Keenwood Rd., Norristown, PA. Interment will be private.
