Marguerite R. Beston (nee Reynolds) "Peggy",of Rosemont, PA., passed away on June 3, 2018 at Bellingham Retirement Community in West Chester. She was 86.
Daughter of the late William and Marguerite Brady Reynolds, she was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 28, 1932.
She was the beloved wife of Francis J. "Frank" Beston. Devoted mother of Marguerite "Peggy" Stathes (Nick), Francis Lyons Beston, Richard J. Beston (Ann) and Grace Enderlein (Bob). Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Andrew, Greg and Marguerite Stathes; Ryan and Shannon Beston; and Sean, Maura and Sarah Enderlein. Dear sister of the late William T. Reynolds (Joan).
Peggy was born in Philadelphia and was a
proud
graduate of Mount Saint Joseph
's
Academy and Rosemont College. She was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter, and always guided and loved her family selflessly. Peggy and Frank were a beautiful example of a happy marriage. She was proud of her Catholic faith, and frequently attended daily Mass and said the Rosary. People, young and old, were drawn to Peggy because of her engaging and entertaining personality and outstanding sense of humor. Peggy was a gifted pianist, and started playing the piano at age five. She continued to play throughout her whole life, both professionally and volunteering, for nursing homes, community theater, and
much
more. She was known for using her humor and talents to effortlessly compose a birthday or anniversary song or poem for friends and family. Her legacy is one of love and laughter, and she was intelligent, creative, and generous.
She has touched so many lives and will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday June 8, 10:30 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the Villanova University Campus, Lancaster Ave., Villanova, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at the Church from 9:30-10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
