MARGARET M. RYAN (NEE WALSH), passed away on October 14, 2013 at age 95. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Ryan, Margie was raised in Wyndmoor and Oreland, PA. She was a graduate of Chestnut Hill College and served as the country's youngest female postmaster during a period of World War 2. A most dedicated and loving mother to John (Daniela), Michael (Vanessa), Patrick (WuShu) and the late Thomas (Janet). Margie's laugh and love is her legacy and will be appreciated by all, especially her 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass Friday October 18, 11:30 AM at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the Church from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1140 King Rd., Immaculata, PA 19345.
