Luly V. Michell's Obituary
Luly V. Michell (nee Vassallo), of West Brandywine, formerly of Gladwyne, PA., passed away on Friday May 11, 2007 at Brandywine Hospital. She was 88.
Daughter of the late Emilio and Estella Bou Vassallo, she was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1918. She was a graduate of St. Joseph College in Virginia. She was the head of the Garden Club on the Main Line for numerous years.
Luly was the beloved wife of the late Frank B. Michell, Jr. Devoted mother of Frederick W. Michell. Loving grandmother of William and Michael Michell and Laura Girsch. Great grandmother of Evan, Emily and Logan Michell. She is also survived by her sisters Laura Gonzales and Pacquita Alonso.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 19, 11:00 AM at St. John Vianney Church, Youngsford & Conshohocken State Rds., Gladwyne, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at the church from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Disease Assoc., 100 N. 17th St., 2nd FL., Phila PA 19103.
