Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kina Simeone Clark, 69, of Gladwyne, PA who left us peacefully on April 2, 2025 having spent her last days surrounded by family and friends. Kina's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear.

Born on February 29th, 1956, in Fairfax County, VA, Kina grew up in Virginia and Kennett Square, PA and later lived in West Chester, PA and Devon, PA where she raised her daughter, Lauren and had her baby son, David. In 2005 she married Harry Clark and resided since in Gladwyne, PA. Kina and Harry are devout Roman Catholics and members of St. John Vianney Parish in Gladwyne.

Kina was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonse F. Simeone and Jeannie Pierce Simeone Scott, her stepfather, Bob Scott, her first husband, Ernest Hicks (father of Lauren), and her beloved baby son, David Alan Becker.

Kina was a beacon of kindness and strength. Her journey was marked by numerous accomplishments in various fields. Notably, Kina served as Executive Vice President of Northlight Advertising from 1996-2003 and Director of Marketing at Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelry from 2003-2006. From 2007 until the time of her passing Kina served as first, the Head of Corporate Communications then Senior Vice President at Clark Capital Management Group (CCMG) in Philadelphia, PA, a company founded by her husband, Harry Clark, in 1986.

Kina was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister and a cherished friend to many. She loved friends and had several she considered family. Her friendships extended to the children and families of friends; everyone was welcome at the Clark house. Also central to Kina's life with Harry was their two dogs, Malamutes, Piper and Rosa. Kina also had a special affection for her "grand-puppies", Lauren's Beagles, the "Beaglemen".

Kina and Harry loved to travel and explored many destinations around the world. Enthusiastic boat owners, they have owned a succession of large boats, all named "Misty K", a name Harry chose to honor Kina. Aboard the Misty K they spent much time in Miami , FL in the winter where they formed lasting friendships with fellow boat owners. Misty K came to Longport, NJ in the warmer months where Kina and Harry were able to enjoy time with friends and family at the New Jersey shore. An annual New England boat trip with friends was a highlight for them when they enjoyed visiting Kina's cousin Frank and his wife Elizabet in Old Saybrook, CT and always spent memorable times in Newport, RI, Nantucket, MA and various other ports.

The Clark's Christmas party was a special occasion during the Christmas season each year when friends and family gathered for a glamorous evening filled with the joy of the season. Kina loved to entertain and was eager to welcome friends and family for any and all holidays to the Clark home.

Kina touched many lives with her generosity and compassion. She gave freely of her time and was known for her philanthropic work on behalf of several organizations including Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center for which she had a special place in her heart. Together with Harry and CCMG, she supported a myriad of worthy causes and helped numerous individuals and groups in need.

Kina's legacy will live on through the countless lives she impacted. She is survived by her loving husband, Harry J.
