Kathryn Ann Lawson (nee Shaw), of Narberth, PA., passed away on February 24, 2024.  She was 86.

Daughter of the late Alice & James Donald Shaw, she was born on June 13, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA.

Kathryn, "Kay", was the beloved wife of the late James C. Lawson, II. and long-time companion of Frank Riehl.  Devoted mother of James C., III. (Denise), Michael (Eileen), Mary Kay Pillart (Richard) and Allison "Bunny" Thomas (William).  Loving Mom-Mom of Michael, Sarah, Emily, Gabrielle, William, Zoe, Jack, Harry, Alex and Ashley.  Great Mom-Mom of Jacob, Charlotte and Hannah.

Kay lived a busy life but always found time to enjoy herself and all those in her company.  She enthusiastically attended every sporting event, dance recital and every other rite of passage that her family was involved in.  Kay always kept in touch with her nine grandchildren and each of them cherished having her sing Happy Birthday on their special day.

Kay worked up until the time of her passing as a receptionist at McAuley Convent and was loved by all of the Sisters of Mercy, her coworkers and the many visitors who came through the doors.  Kay had an infectious smile and a knack for putting people at ease.  She was a joy to be around and will be missed by so many people.

Relatives and friends are invited on Thursday February 29th, Viewing from 9 to 10:30 AM with Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave, Narberth PA.  Interment Calvary Cemetery.
